With his daughter Lucy competing, one of our long-serving pump operators, Kelly Brown, was delighted with their fantastic achievement at the 49th Euro-Links Gala hosted in Hürth, Germany. “Well done Thetford Dolphins coming home with the trophy for the sixth consecutive year! ”.

This was the 49th Euro-Links Gala, hosted by Hurth, Germany. This annual competition celebrates the links between our twin towns of Thetford (England), Spijkinesse (Holland), and Hurth (Germany).
Thetford Dolphins took 40 swimmers to Germany for the competition. It was a very exciting afternoon of racing and the result was too close to call! Results were revealed during the presentation evening and disco; it was close as only 3 points separated the winners, but Thetford Dolphins were successful in retaining the trophy for the sixth consecutive year!
