Schwing M24 Euro 6
We have just taken delivery of a new Schwing 24 metre concrete boom pump. It has a 90 cubic metre / hour pump with a long, 2000mm piston stroke and 200mm pistons making it a very versatile mobile concrete pump. It will happily pump all day at high output and will just as readily pump long concrete pipelines. However, it is not the pump or the concrete placing boom that makes this such a valuable addition to our fleet – we have many pumps with this pumping unit. It is the fact that the pump is mounted on the very latest Mercedes Benz Arocs 2633 chassis.
This 330 bhp engine complies with the most stringent Euro VI emissions standard and, in theory, will be 4% more fuel efficient than the engine it supersedes. We will take delivery of further pumps this year from Schwing and our other German supplier Putzmeister. They will, of course, all meet the new Euro VI emissions standard.
