The iONTRON is a mobile concrete pump that can safely and efficiently pump concrete in either electric or diesel mode. Switching between the two is simple and the pump operates the same either way, making it an easy change for the pump operator. Pumping concrete in electric mode is an environmentally friendly and efficient solution to reducing emissions and noise pollution on construction sites.
How the Electric Concrete Pump Works
Operating the hybrid concrete pump in electric mode is very straightforward. Simply plug the connector into the site power supply (125 A, alternatively 63 A) and start pumping – no additional batteries required! The iONTRON hybrid concrete pump can be powered with diesel or electricity. All it takes to switch between the two during operation is the press of a button.
- Drive to the construction site and activate the transfer gearbox
- Simply unwind the cable and plug it into a 125 A socket
- Deactivate the transfer gearbox (in diesel mode)
- Switch the main switch to electric mode
- Start the electric motor with the radio remote control
- Pump concrete in electric mode!
Working the Hybrid Concrete Pump in Electric Mode
The powerful electric motor of iONTRON covers typical site use applications with a delivery rate of up to 100 m3/h in electric operation. Once activated by the switch of a button, electric mode supports the positioning of the support, the boom movements, and concrete pumping. Operation always remains the same for the machine operator, whether the machine is running in diesel or electric mode. Controlling the concrete pump with he electric motor running is just as easy and intuitive as always.
